1. what is slurry pump?
   
   A slurry pump is a type of pump designed for pumping liquid containing solid particles. Slurry pumps changes in design and construction to adjust to multiple type of slurry which varies in concentration of solids, size of solid particles, shape of solid particles, and composition of solution. Slurry pump are more robust than liquid pumps; they have added sacrificial material and replaceable wear parts to withstand wear due to abrasion.

Type ZJR, ZJM, ZJH Pump are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pump. They are designed for the handing high density slurries in the metallurgical, mining , coal, power, building material and other industrial department etc.
The frame plates liner and impeller for type ZJR , ZJ(M) pumps have replaceable wear-resistant metal liners or rubber liners.
The shaft seals for type ZJ(R),ZJM, and ZJH Pump may be adoptable of gland seal , expeller seal or Mechanical seal . 
The discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degrees by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.
Bearing assembly use cylindrical structure, which helps adjust the space between impeller and cover plate liner easily, and being removed completely when being repaired. Bearings use grease lubrication. Here are the drive types, such as V belt drive, gear reducer drive, fluid coupling drive, and frequency conversion drive devices.
Wide performance, good NPSH and high efficiency, the pump of this type may be installed in multistage series to meet the delivery for long distance.

Feature and Application
 

The sump pump type ZJL(R) is vertical,centrifugal slurry pump. It is suitable for delivering abrasion or

corrosive slurry and the pump is always immersed in the sump or pit to operate. The sump pump is

divided into type ZJL and ZJLR, but they have the same construction. The wet-parts and shaft for type

ZJL is made of metal material for delivering abrasive slurry and for type ZJLR is lined with

corrosive-resistant rubber for delivering corrosive slurry. The ZJL(R) sump pump is widely used for

mining, chemical industry and each factory and mine enterprise.

Type ZJS(H) Gravel Pumps are single stage, single casing, centrifugal horizontal pump. Sand&Gravel pumps are designed for continuously handling the most difficult higher abrasive slurries which contain too big solids to be pumped by a common pump.  They are suitable for delivering slurries in mining, explosive -sludge in metal melting, dredging in dredger and course of rivers, and other fields. Type ZJSH PUMPS are high head ones.

1. Construction of this pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bands and wide wet passage.
