It is advisable to preheat bearing inner ring or cones(never exceed 120ºC),with shaft in vertical position heated inner ring or cones can be slipped on and pressed or tapped up to shoulder or grease retainer.For the double rows of tapper roller bearings,its inner ring or corners,cup and spacer may be not interchangeable with similar assmblies of the same type bearings.



For type A,B,C,D,E bearing assembly,the single row tapper roller bearing should be adopted.

During assembly,axial gap in the end cover should be adjusted by means of shims,the value of axial gap should be corresponding with the following table.
